We offer several levels of treatment for our patients.
The first step to receiving treatment for alcohol or drug addiction is often medical detox. This is when you are detoxed off of whatever substance your body has become dependent on with medical supervision. The withdrawal symptoms for opiate addiction, benzodiazepine addiction, and alcohol addiction in particular are difficult to endure. They can even be fatal if attempted without medical attention. Our healthcare professionals will monitor your progress and help keep you comfortable as your body releases all of the toxic materials.
Inpatient Treatment Programs
Inpatient or residential treatment programs are helpful when patients need 24/7 access to medical supervision and help with their addictions. For patients who have to go through detox, the inpatient treatment program is a good next step. In treatment program that is residential in nature, patients will undergo substance abuse classes, individual and group therapy, and other activities and classes.
Partial Hospitalization Program
The PHP or partial hospitalization program is similar to the residential treatment program other than the fact that the patients are able to return home at night, assuming that they have a drug-free, stable, and supportive environment in which to live. They will also engage in classes and therapy.
Outpatient Treatment Programs
Outpatient patients will also engage in the same activities but only for 10 – 20 hours during the week. It is often a good idea for a patient to progress through the other programs before entering into the outpatient treatment programs.
After patients leave our facility, it is essential that they begin a recovery program like Narcotics Anonymous, Alcoholics Anonymous or SMART Recovery. They should also resume therapy and any necessary medical follow up.
