Brothers Dave and Bill Kasper combined their talents in January 1995 to found Panther Press Inc. on Brecksville Road. Bill has a degree in graphics art from Kent State University and is in charge of the company's graphics, sales, and customer service departments, while Dave employs his background in engineering and his business degree from Ashland University to oversee the daily operation of the firm. We met with Dave recently, and listened as he provide this overview of Panther Press' offerings;

Panther Press Inc. is a full color, commercial printing company priding ourselves on exceeding our customers' expectations. We have six-color and seven-color presses that print in large, forty inch format, and we print everything from catalogs to magazines, mailers, brochures, post cards, posters, sell sheets, business cards, letterheads, and envelopes. We handle runs ranging from 1,000 flyers or letterheads to as high as a million mailers. Panther Press continues to invest in current technologies. We have added a Komori 6-color press with coater that enables us to become more efficient with press speeds as high as 16,000 sheets per hour. Our pre-press department advances include direct-to-plate imaging and Kodak Staccato® screening technology. The advantage to this technology is greater image fidelity, more vibrant color, and greatly improved print integrity. This high definition technique utilizes very small dots to increase the contrast and enhance the composition in areas where previous outdated methods displayed only a muddled appearance.
